what kind of credit are underwriters looking for? what kind of credit should I apply for to reestablish credit so that I can purchase a home loan! Starting from scratch since I filed for bankruptcy 4 years ago. before that I had A+ credit.

my husban is dealing with this now and just found out… we were trying to buy a house and we find out his credit is no good … and we are trying to resolve the identity theft and get it taken care of but what are the step to get rid of it and how long will it take and once you get everything fixed will your credit be fixed?!?

Report this to your bank – they will investigate into the theft – they will have it fixed.

What do I do if there are fraud charges on our credit report and there isnt a number to call to say they arent ours? I have been sending letters like crazy to the people and we need our credit fixed bad.

send written letters to the collection agencies, all three of them. Tell them you are disputing the charges and they will have to investigate it. Hopefully, you have proof. If you do, send it with your letter.
