Question by kb: I closed a credit card, will paying it off raise my credit score?
I know NOW that closing a credit card isn’t good for your score – so please don’t lecture me on that – but that is after I closed it unfortunately.

I am close to paying it off, and I was wondering when I pay it off – will it help raise my score? Or am i just paying it off and seeing no results.

Stop obsessing over your score. If you live within your income and pay cash, you won’t need to worry about a credit score.
