Question by Mark W: Are there places to council you on fixing and repairing your credit that are non profit ?
I would like to sit with someone and have them review my credit reports and give me advice on how to improve my credit score. I went to a credit counseling place and they just wanted money. Would like to buy a home soon. Is there anywhere I can go ?

At the library take out a book there are many on fixing your credit
Dave Ramsey is a great author. Check his site and Suze Orman online.
You pay off your old debts, You dispute the ones you can. Then you use your current credit wisely by paying on time either in full or at least triple the minimum payments. You need to show you are not living pay check to pay check. Boost your savings.
